We aim to present you the unique beauty and story of the rose flower, one of the dozens of wonders that nature has given to humanity, in the best way possible in Isparta, the Rose garden of Turkey.
Founded by farmers from Isparta in 1954, Gülbirlik Cooperative has created Rosense, a world brand today, and has been telling this adventure to our valued guests with Rose Tourism since 2014.
We show the story of the Isparta Rose, which we call the queen of flowers, starting with the moment when it is picked from its branch in the first hours of the morning together with you, our valued guests, and how it was used as a beauty product in the past and today, with our museums and factories. We are sure that you will enjoy the rose breakfast experience and spending time in the rose pool in our facilities, which are unlike any other in the world and where you will experience firsts.
We invite you to discover the beauty of nature in Isparta, Turkey’s Rose Garden.
Our guests who will join this unique trip:
1. In the first hours of the morning, they will collect roses from the gardens with symbolic rose bags that will be given during their tour of the rose gardens.
2. They will be able to watch the demonstration of how rose oil was first extracted in the world in the 1800s and the still and boiling method.
3. They will participate in the adventure tour of rose oil from the 1800s to the present day at the GÜNEYKENT ROSE FACTORY MUSEUM, Turkey’s first Rose Oil Factory, which was established in 1950.
4. They will be able to participate in the Rose Oil factory tour, where they can see how Rose Oil and Rosewater are produced by boiling the collected roses.
5. Things you cannot see anywhere else in the world; They will be able to spend a unique time in the large rose pool containing 100’s of kilograms of Rose Flowers and immortalize these moments with photographs.
6. Finally, they will have the opportunity to shop at our store where our own brand ROSENSE products made from Rose oil and rose water produced in our factories are sold.
GÜLBİRLİK
Founded and operated by the state in 1954 and continuing its activities as a cooperative since 1998, Gülbirlik is a farmer organization in which 8000 thousand farmers are partners, 4500 of which are active.
Gülbirlik, which is Turkey’s largest Rose Oil producer, currently produces 300-400 Kg of Rose Oil by processing 1000-1500 tons of Rose Flowers annually with its four Rose Oil factories.
ROSE GARDENS
Towards the end of spring, when nature presents all its beauties, we witness the visual feast of pink and the peace of the scent of roses in the Isparta Rose Gardens. This is how the Rose Flower petals collected at the first light of the day begin their journey to reach the Earth.
ROSE OIL FACTORY
The factory, which has been operating actively since 1980, produces 10 Kg of Rose Oil and 9 Tons of Rose Water Yeast as a result of processing 40 tons of rose flowers daily. Boilers operating with Fueloil technology still meet the world’s need for rose oil.
ROSE CAFE AND ROSE MUSEUM
We promise you to visit the Rose Factory Museum, which was founded in 1954 and is used as a museum today, and relieve the tiredness of the day by drinking Rose Coffee at the Gül Cafe, which you cannot find anywhere else in the world.
ROSE POOL
We aim to ensure that our valued guests experience unforgettable moments and immortalize their memories by laying the unique rose flower petals collected from the Rose Gardens on the pool.
ROSE AND ROSE OIL
The oil rose in Isparta is known as Rosa Damascena. Rose Flowers are collected early in the morning before sunrise to prevent the oil in the flower from evaporating, and are processed in factories on the same day to obtain Rose Oil. Rose oil and rose water yeast obtained from Rose Flowers processed by distillation technique are used as raw materials in many areas in the cosmetic industry.
